Happy holidays and a healthy New Year 2025

There are only a few weeks left in 2024 and we would like to look back on it with you.
After a somewhat bumpy start with lengthy interruptions to publishing data deliveries, the year continued successfully after all. The bugs were fixed, deliveries resumed and we first made it onto the longlist, then onto the shortlist of the Enter Open Access Award with DeepGreen. Finally, in July, we were delighted to receive the award in the Infrastructure category.
Together with Cottage Labs, we were able to implement several technical enhancements. Among other things, the ISSNs of the individual license lists can now be viewed in the repository accounts and the institutional identifiers ROR and Ringgold have been integrated into the matching process.
Finally, the year ended with a contractual agreement with Springer Nature to supply DEAL data.
We have also grown steadily this year. Seven institutional repositories and two publishers have decided to cooperate with DeepGreen. In total, we were able to successfully assign 113,630 articles to our repositories in 2024 as of December 18, 2024.
