DeepGreen will remain free of charge in 2026

In spring 2025, we announced that the open access data delivery service DeepGreen would become a paid service in the future. In the summer of this year, we conducted a non-binding survey with initial concrete information on the planned pricing structure. Based on numerous constructive responses, the cost model is now being further revised. The KOBV Curatorium has therefore decided that DeepGreen will continue to be financed from the operating institutions’ own funds for the time being in the coming year.

DeepGreen will therefore remain free of charge for all participants in 2026. Further information on the cost model and schedule will also follow next year.
